| Old farm of the fourteenth century, in the medieval village of Pogni, (town of Certaldo) in the heart of the Chianti area. It is placed about 400 meters on the sea level and extended on an area of 28 hectares. In the village, there are both the agrotourism and the agricultural activity with the production of wine and olive oil. The complete renovation of the village had been concluded at the end of the year 2008, the same year of the beginning of the agrotourism activity. The complex is composed only of 6 apartments, for 18 beds + 6 beds considering the sofa beds. This farm is placed in a lonely place, surrounded by one of the most beautiful valley of the Chianti area, where the guests can have an absolutely calm stay, using the external pool, the football field and the tennis court. In addition to the things here written, there are also some areas for the agrotourism activity, and in the village, there is also a renovated hayloft, with two big rooms furnished for work meetings or convivial lunches, and the fourteenth century main farmhouse, with a wide living area, only for particular occasions. It is possible to rent all the buildings, the prices are on demand. The guests have at their disposal these services: pool 20 x 8 meters with entrance made like a beach and solarium with beach umbrellas, deckchairs, tennis court with artificial grass, football field with grass, table tennis, visit to the cellar of wine making and also to the cellar of maturation, tasting of the Farm products: wines and oil, there is the possibility to take part to the grape harvest and to the picking of the olives, internet point,self-service laundry, convivial dinner on demand –at least 8 people. In the surroundings of the agrotourism there are these services: supermarket – 5 km far, food shop, bar, Bank, Post Office – 1 km far, ring – 4 km, lake for game fishing – 4km, flight with hot-air balloon-5 km. |
